1. What is a Virtual Run ?

A virtual run is a sports event where you can run at any location, at your own pace. You can run outside or on a treadmill, at home or at the gym. Typically, virtual runs are done alone or with a partner; but can also be done in a group.

2. Can children join this run?

Yes, but only for 5km category (Fun Run). Their parents are still required to complete the registration on the children's behalf.

3. When is the event ?

The virtual run can be done starting 1st to 31st January 2021.

4. Where is the run will be held?

Since it is a virtual run, it can be done anywhere and at your own place. It can on the treadmill, around your neighborhood, at the park or anywhere safe to run. Just remember to practice social distancing and SOPs.

5. How do I record my run?

You can use the suggested apps for running to track your run. Other running apps can also be used to record your data. Ensure the necessary sensors are enabled to track your steps, distance and time.

6. What's the difference between a competitive and non-competitive run?

A competitive run, also known as a race, will have winners (champion, 1st and 2nd runner up) declared. A non-competitive run, also known as a fun run, will not have any winners declared.

Competitive runs have to be done in a single session (one shot) to be eligible for prizes. Non-competitive runs can be done in multiple sessions.

The 10 KM and 21 KM Categories can be done in both competitive and non-competitive manner. The 5 KM Category is only open for non-competitive runs.


7. When can I receive my entitlement items?

The entitlement items will be sent out from 3rd February 2021 onwards, after the running period has ended.
